THE WORKSHOP SERIES SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 3-7 HAS BEEN CANCELLED!
The Historic Preservation Professional Development and Continuing Education Workshop Series at West Florida Historic Preservation, Inc. is designed to equip participants with the basic skills necessary to function effectively within the world of cultural resource management.
Attendees will learn through a combination of classroom activities and hands-on experience facilitated through the Historic Pensacola Village complex of 27 historic buildings as well as participating cultural resource stewards around the city. Instructors for the workshops represent the highest level of professionalism and hail from a variety of professions within the field of Historic Preservation.
The 5-part series is broken into 3 days of workshop sessions. Although the sessions are meant to build upon one another, the staff of West Florida Historic Preservation, Inc. is happy to work with attendees interested in attending specific daily workshops.
Beyond providing attendees with the basic knowledge necessary to operate in the world of Historic Preservation, the courses also fulfill requirements for Continuing Education Credits as sanctioned by the American Institute of Architects and the American Planning Association.
Workshop Series Costs:
Full Three-Day Series: $60.00 for students-$180.00 for WFHPI Members-$215.00 for Non-WFHPI Memebers (Registration includes one year membership to WFHPI)
Single Day registration- $25.00 for students-$100.00 for WFHPI Members-$160.00 for Non-WFHPI Memebers (Registration includes one year membership to WFHPI)
